performances with ancient and traditional instruments of the Maya, Aztec,
Toltec, Zapotec, Totonac, Raramuri, Seri and other indigenous cultures
of Mexico and Central America. Songs in the indigenous languages of this
region can also be included.

This show features
performances with ancient and native instruments of both Andean and Amazonian
indigenous peoples, including the Inca/Quechua, Aymara, Mochica, Mapuche,
Shuar, Achininga, Kayapo and Karaja. Traditional songs in Quechua and
Spanish can also be included.

This show features performances with ancient and indigenous instruments
from throughout North, Central and South America; from Alaska to Tierra
del Fuego. Songs in native languages can also be included.

of the Rainforest
A Xochimoki specialization! This musical journey around the world explores
many rainforest regions, including southern Mexico/Central America, the
Amazon, the temperate rainforests of Chile and the Pacific Northwest,
the islands of the South Pacific, New Guinea and Northern Australia, Southeast
Asia, India and Central Africa. Songs in indigenous languages can also
be included.
